Introduction
For decades now, Nike successfully made use of these three little words as their slogan…
“Just do it.”
They are straightforward but it really carries a huge message.
I wonder how many people these three little words have kept pursing and moving towards a goal or challenge… I know they have kept me going a time or two throughout my years.
I have used this slogan used in my self talk whenever I felt that I can’t do something,
I kept repeating to myself that I can do it, I have to do it, and don’t stop trying.
One could postulate that this slogan is responsible for turning dreamers into doers.
However the cutting truth is these three words don’t cut it by themselves.
The process is a lot more arduous than repeating something that works for you.
It’s a process, in which you will need three key things.
Now before I walk you through these 3 key things check this out…
Make sure you PAY close attention and read this to the end.
Do you want to know a 100% legit way to make an income from home?
What if you could build a passive income stream that’s actually passive?
An income stream that doesn’t require:
- Inventory
- Selling to friends and family
- Selling to strangers
- Recruiting people
- Dealing with questionable products that weigh on your conscience
An income stream that brings in consistent revenues every single month (from a couple thousand dollars to well over $10,000)?
An income stream you could actually build in your spare time, and grow as large or as small as you want to, without having to spend hours a day chasing, selling, or managing anything?

Motivation
When you have a big dream and are moving towards it, it’s usually connected to an end goal that will bring joy and satisfaction to your life.
You can wish for a new house or a new job. And you know that once you get it, you will feel a sense of satisfaction, and yes that sense of relief that comes with every achievement.
The same will happen when you dream for something much bigger in life… like owning your own business.
So one of the key things in turning dreams into reality is your MOTIVATION.
The burning question is…. Do you have it or not?
The “Just Do It” mindset is what is needed if you really want to achieve your dreams and goals, and is more rewarding and satisfying once you commit to this life.
Discipline
Next main ingredient is DISCIPLINE.
To keep your motivation high throughout the entire journey, you need to stay dedicated to the goal.
You need to be disciplined… this means staying consistent in your daily habits.
Some achievements will take days or even hours. But for some, you might need years and years of work.
The truth is motivation alone will fail you every time! There will be days when you’ll want to just give up!
That’s when discipline comes into play.
This is where you will need “The Slight Edge” as Jeff Olson addressed in his book where he talks about turning simple disciplines into massive success and happiness.
This is where you will need “The Slight Edge” as Jeff Olson addressed in his book where he talks about turning simple disciplines into massive success and happiness.
Despite not being motivated, when you are disciplined and stick to your plans, you will get through every bad day and every challenge on the way to your goal.

Courage
Finally, to obtain the mindset of a doer, you need to have COURAGE and face your fears.
According to BrainFacts.org it is completely normal to be afraid. It can even be a good thing.
They state that “Fear is the body’s alarm system — it’s an innate emotional response to a perceived personal threat.”
However an excellent way to manage them is to set up boundaries for your fears to stop them from regulating your behavior and life..
In fact, a healthier way is to face your fears and has proven to be an effective long-term treatment, is what psychotherapists call approach or Exposure Therapy.
An example of exposure therapy would be when someone scared of heights may ride in a glass elevator with a psychotherapist.
During the ride, the psychotherapist would talk to the patient and provide breathing exercises to help them cope with their anxiety.
Getting over a fear is an active process that requires learning and retraining the brain and they suddenly become less of a burden.
In Jordan Petersons book “12 Rules For Life”… Once you face your fears and act from a courageous posture, he states you are now ready transform the chaos of potential into the realities of habitual doer.
When you get the courage and stand up straight with your shoulders back you need to turn your dreams into reality, that’s when you develop into a doer.
Dare to dream!
Be a dreamer, but also be a doer.
My Final Word
The doers chase their dreams with motivation, discipline and courage.
The world belongs to the dreamers, but it’s the doers that move it forward.
One without the other is just not good enough when you want to lead a happy and fulfilled life.
Next time you wish for something big to happen in your life, you must examine your actions and self-sabotaging behaviors.
Instead of procrastinating, looking for excuses or blaming others… have the courage, motivation, and discipline to think of the possibilities that can come out of this situation if you only take the first step.
Don’t be afraid to go after the things you have dreamed about, even if there is a chance of failure along the way.
After all, the harder something is to get, the more you’ll appreciate the victory.
Now go BIG DREAM, lose the fear, and go for it!
